Emotions Escalate As SDDA Bids Farewell To Agric Director

The Heads of Departments and Units heads, Staff of the Assembly, and SDD Residents extended affection and gratitude to Mr. Enoch Dzadzra, also known as the English Professor, for his excellent leadership and hard work when he stepped down from active public service after 23 years.

After six years in the district and unselfish work in the Local Government work, Mr. Dzadzra was given a citation and a gift by Mrs. Cecelia Donkor the District Finance Officer on behalf of the Agric Department and the district assembly.

During a brief ceremony to officially hand over the position to Mr. Nusianu Avedzidah, the new Agric Director, who was the North Dayi District Director of Agric.

Mr. Enoch Dzadzra expressed his gratitude to the staff and District Chief Executive, Hon. Godwin Kwame Dadzawa, for their unwavering support during his term in office.

He requested that they provide the new Agric Director with the same assistance and collaboration.

At the Farewell ceremony, Mr. John Kennedy Cobbah, the District Coordinating Director of SDDA, praised the departing Agric Director for his dedication to his job.

“You have inscribed your name in the Assembly’s history books as a distinguished civil servant whose works and accomplishments ought to be imitated by all. To elevate the agricultural sector to a higher level in the district, however, the mantle needs to be handed to someone else” he added.

Mr. Enoch Dzadzra served as the Agric Director for South Dayi District from 2019 to 2024
