SOUTH DAYI DISTRICT ASSEMBLY HOLDS DISTRICT PLANNING COORDINATING UNIT (DPCU) MEETING

On October 4, 2024, the District Planning Coordinating Unit met to discuss the draft for 2024 Department Action Plan and prepare for the 2025 Composite Annual Action Plan (CAAP).

 

The District Planning Officer, Mr. Sylvanus Tettey, Secretary for the committee, welcomed all participants to the meeting and noted that all DPCU members must coordinate with one another to ensure that they share resources and ideas to reach a shared goal.

Each department also presented their Composite Annual Action Plan to the committee. Departments which presented their CAAP included Agriculture department, Education, Human Resources Department, Statistics Department, Environmental Health Unit, Department of Social Welfare and Community Development, NADMO, Physical Planning Department, Birth and Death and others.

Mr Fedelix Agyemang, Assistant Planning Officer, presented the draft of the 2025 AAP to the committee. He stated that input was received from numerous departments regarding adjustments to their departmental 2024 annual action plans, which were previously provided. He then indicated that all physical tasks that are not completed will be extended to the following physical year.

In his final remarks, the secretary stated that SDDA_ had been demoted from excellent to very good in the creation of the Action Plan, and he asked all heads of departments to write and submit their CAAP for the 2025 physical year on time.
