South Dayi District Assembly Holds its 3rd Quarter Budget Committee Meeting

The Budget Committee meet on Wed, 6th August, 2024, to discuss matters of the committee to be taken to Finance and Administration Sub-committee.

Matters discussed included Previous Minutes, Discussion of 2025 Annual Action Plan, Discussion of 2025 Fee fixing resolution, Discussion of Draft 2025 Composite Budget of the SDDA (Goods and Services) and other matters.
 
The committee extensively looked at the financials projections for the 2025 comparing to the actual by the various funding sources i.e., IGF, GOG, DACF, DACF-RFG, and Donor Funds. The total projections for 2024 is estimated at GH¢ 8,757,992.00 and the actual GHC 7,641,800.07 was receipt as at 2024 representing 87.26%.

Expenditure Head as at Sept, 2024 was GHC1,444,145.33 which made up of compensation (GHC 1,302, 355.83) and Goods and Services (GHC 141,789.50) made up 16.49% of the total expenditure as at March 2024.
 
The meeting invited all Heads of Departments and Units of the District Assembly. All matters were successfully discussed and recommendations taken.
