SOUTH DAYI DISTRICT RECEIVES DRIP EQUIPMENT’S FOR ROAD IMPROVEMENT.

On Friday, August 22, 2024, the Government of Ghana, under the direction of His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo, presented equipment to Hon. Godwin Dadzawa, the District Chief Executive for the South Dayi District, as part of the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP). One of the government’s hallmark initiatives, the DRIP, aims to assist the nation’s districts in periodically redesigning their roadways.

The equipment consists of a backhoe, a water tanker, a tipper truck, and a grader. The President and the wonderful people of South Dayi are reassured by Hon. Dadzawa in his remakes that the equipment arrived on schedule.

He goes on to say that work would be done on the road network, which has been difficult for him throughout the years. He continued by saying that in order to make the Kpeve, Peki, and Dzemeni inner road more motorable for commuters on that section of the road, work would be done on it as soon as possible. He gives the residents of South Dayi District his word that the NPP government is looking out for their best interests. After their patient wait, the South Dayi District’s roads will be improved as a listening government.

He pledged to make excellent use of the equipment in order to fulfill its intended purpose.
