Workshop/ Training for all Staff of the District Assembly

The South Dayi District on 23rd November, 2021 organized a day Workshop or Training for all Staff of the District Assembly in the District Capital, Kpeve.

The Assistant Director, Mr. Charles Boazor  welcomed the staff present and then briefed the gathering about the purpose of the meeting.

He said the workshop is to enlighten the staff on the Local Government Service Protocols as well as equip them to increase their performance.

He finally urged them to pay attention to the presentation so as to achieve the goal of the training.

In his presentation, the Human Resource Manager,  Mr. Henry Yevu  projected what the Local Government Service Protocols entails, which included the Scheme of Service, the Code of Conduct and many more.

Mr. Yevu enlightened the Staff on the various Group/Class each staff belongs such as Administrative Group/Class or Engineering Group so that they can discharge their duties with regards to the Protocols. He encouraged all the Staff present to get the Local Government Service Protocols and study it thoroughly to equip them with knowledge.

Mr. Yevu finally entreated  all Staff to set individual and Departmental goals and endeavour to achieve them.

In his closing remark, the Assistant Director, Mr. Charles Boazor  thanked everyone for coming and urged them to communicate what has been discussed to others who were absent.

The Training/workshop was participatory, interactive and successful.
