The South Dayi District Assembly (SDDA) has organized a goodbye ceremony to recognize Madam Stella B. Abbey
The ceremony was held on Friday, June 14, 2024, at the SDDA’s District Finance Officers (DFO) office in Kpeve. The District Coordinating Director (DCD), District Finance Officer, District Director of Internal Audit, Controller Accountant Department staff at the district level, and SDDA staff were in attendance.
Mr. John K. Cobbah, the DCD (SDDA), hailed Madam Abbey as a humble, diligent, and inspirational figure in society. “I always see her very quiet and always setting behind her desk minding her business” he euligised.
Mrs. Cecelia Donkor (DFO) handed a citation, a gift, and an envelope containing an undisclosed amount to Madam Abbey in recognition of her selfless 40 years of service in Local Government and 12 years in the district.
In her brief address, Madam Abbey expressed her sincere gratitude and appreciation for the honor bestowed upon her and called her role in the area as a privilege and a training ground that has catapulted her to greater heights
