Rename of the Ministry of local government ministry chieftaincy and religious affairs

The Ghana government has merged the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs with the Ministry of Local Government into the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs. Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim was appointed as the Minister for this merged ministry. This change was approved by Parliament. The merger aims to enhance the coordination of government efforts in local governance, traditional institutions, and religious affairs
