DCE HANDS OVER TEACHERS FURNITURE TO HEADS OF SECOND-CYCLE INSTITUTIONS
The District Chief Executive for South Dayi District(SDD). Hon. Courage Kokroko, in collaboration with the District Education Directorate has handed over 70 teachers’ furniture to the heads of second-cycle institutions within the district.
Speaking at the brief ceremony at the fore court of the Assembly Hon. Kokroko reiterated the governments strong commitment to education. “We remain committed to investing in education because it remain the key success and sustainable development”.
He expressed appreciation to H.E. President John Dramani Mahama for his continuous support towards education and urged school authorities and beneficiaries to maintain a proper maintenance culture of the items received
Receiving the items on behalf of the Director of SDD Education Directorate , Mr. Gadafi Baako expressed his gratitude to the Assembly and the Government noting that the new furniture would be well taken care of and be used for its right intended purpose.
The donation is expected to directly benefit Headmasters and teachers n the second cycle schools to improve academic outcomes.
