Ghana Card Registration Kicks Off

The much-awaited Ghana Card registration finally hits the Volta region and our district is not left out. Training has been ongoing for the recruited officials at the premises of the District Assembly. On the 16^th of July 2019, registration was done for the officials under training including the honorable District Chief Executive and the District Coordinating Director.

The Ghana Card is a national identity card that is issued by the National Identification Authority to Ghanaian citizens both resident and non-resident, and legally and permanently resident foreign nationals. It is proof of identity, citizenship and residence of the holder.

Registration will officially begin in the communities on Monday 22^nd August, 2019. Below are the requirements for this exercise;
