Hon. James Gunu Celebrates Eid with Zongo Community in South Dayi
The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, together with the District Chief Executive for South Dayi, Hon. Courage Kokroko, joined the Zongo community at Dzemeni in the South Dayi District to celebrate Eid festivities with them.
On behalf of the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E John Dramani Mahama, the Minister expressed appreciation to the Muslim community for their contributions to national development and prayed for continued peace, unity, and collaboration towards the progress of Ghana.
Hon. Gunu also donated an unspecified amount of money to support the celebration.
The Chief of the Zongo community, Alhaji Saritsi Omaro Hasume, thanked the Minister and his delegation for the visit and support. As a sign of appreciation, the community presented a lamb to the Minister.
