MINISTER FOR FISHERIES AND AQUACULTURE VISITS TONGOR-DZEMENI, SOUTH DAYI

The Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture and Member of Parliament for Shama, Hon. Emilia Arthur, has paid a working visit to Tongor-Dzemeni in the South Dayi District.During the visit, the Hon. Minister engaged directly with fishermen and fish processors in the community. The engagement provided an opportunity to discuss key challenges in the fisheries sector, including fish processing, storage, livelihood support, and government interventions aimed at improving the fishing industry along the Volta Lake.The South Dayi District Assembly welcomes this visit and remains committed to working with the Ministry to improve livelihoods and promote sustainable fisheries for our people.
