The South Dayi District office of the NHIA continued with its first quarter special registration for 2021 with the aim of visiting all major communities in the District.

During the period under review, the team undertook series of activities to achieve set targets
- Sensitized members on key policies of the NHIS
- Distributed membership hand books to members present
- Renewed cards for members who could not do it on their own.

In terms of revenue mobilization, an amount of GHS 8664 was mobilized during the two week exercise via E-receipt. This was made up of GHS 3349 for premium and GHS 5515 for processing.
A total of 809 cards were renewed via Mobile renewal raking in a revenue of GHS 10287.66 with GHS 5644 for premium and GHS4643.66 for processing.
CHALLENGES
Lack of official vehicle to support field activities
Application challenges (sometimes authentication token, abis response etc)
Lack of printers making it impossible to print cards on the field.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Official vehicle needed to support our outreach programme and all activities of the scheme. It will also boost visibility at the various communities visited.
Supply of equipments and consumables like printers and ribbons respectively will boost performance.
