COMMISSIONING OF THREE UNIT CLASSROOM BLOCK AT KPALIME DUGA
On Thursday, 27th November 2022, the District Chief Executive of South Dayi District Hon. Godwin Kwame Dadzawa commissioned a 3 unit classroom block at Kpalime Duga, a community in the South Dayi District of the Volta Region of Ghana.
The project which was funded by the South Dayi District Assembly under the auspices of District Performance Assessment Test 4 (DPAT 4), provided a fully furnished 3 unit classroom block, a staff common room, office and a store room. Aside the edifice mentioned above, furniture provided for the facility to function effectively include; 90 mono desk, 5 teachers table and 10 teachers chairs was also supported by the District Performance Assessment Test 5.
In a brief ceremony, Hon. Godwin Dadzawa said the fully furnished functional project will improve teaching and learning and will make a difference in the lives of parents, teachers and Pupils.
He indicated that government is committed to working with key stakeholders to ensure that teachers and pupils get the best possible conducive academic atmosphere and position them to fully contribute to our national development and also called on the citizenry to support government in the collective duty of making education more accessible and available for all Ghanaians.
He assured his commitment to ensure that development is brought to the people of South Dayi.
The project was constructed by KEKOM Ventures Limited and supervised by the District Works Engineer for South Dayi District Assembly, Ing. Samuel Dompreh.
Ing. Samuel Dompreh tasked the teachers and students to ensure proper maintenance of the facility.
