The program is a part of the Ghana Job and Skills Project, which is supported by the World Bank and seeks to provide young people the tools they need to launch long-lasting businesses.

On the first day of the course, Festus Obeng Sefah, the program facilitator, lectured and guided participants through the Entrepreneurship course Manual.

He urged the delegates to improve their enterprises with the use of modern technology like e-commerce by putting more creativity and innovation to use.

In order to succeed, the trainees were challenged by the District BAC Officer, Mr. Prince Anku, to put the knowledge they would receive over these five days of training to use.

The participants who successfully complete the basic stage will move to the intermediate stage, where they will get further training for ten days before being eligible for the government awards after clearing the 15-day training for the final batch.
