SDDA HOLDS EXECO MEETING
The Executive Committee of the South Dayi District Assembly met earlier today to discuss the 2025 Mid-Year Budget Review, which was presided over by Hon. Courage Kokroko (DCE).
Mr. Asamoah Nkrumah, the district budget analyst, gave the following presentation on the budget review:
The 2025 Internal Generated Fund (IGF) was reviewed from GHC774,365 to GHC 787,365. By the end of July 2025, the overall amount of IGF collected was GHC 323,224 (41.74%), while the total amount spent was GHC 331,266.86.
The District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) was allocated GHC 19,033,100.28 for 2025.
Projects like the 24 Hour Market Model at Kpeve, the 10-unit classroom block at Kpeve Model Basic School, the completion of the 6-unit classroom block at Peki Agbatey, the 2-unit classroom block at Agordeke, the CHPS at Kpeyiborme, the expansion of water projects at Tongor and its environs, and others will be implemented in the district under the DACF allocation, which is strictly governed by central government guidelines.
The house overwhelmingly accepted the Mid-Year Budget Review after Hon. Emmanuel Ankrah backed the motion moved by Hon. Dzormeku Francis.
