South Dayi District Assembly Holds 2nd Quarter Management Meeting

The South Dayi District Assembly demonstrated its commitment to effective governance and community development by holding its second quarter management meeting on July 8, 2025.

The meeting, which was presided over by District Chief Executive Hon. Courage Kwame Kokroko, brought together department and unit heads to review the assembly’s performance in the second half of the year and strategize for the remaining quarters.

Among the key issues discussed were:

✓ Preparation towards the visit of the President of Ghana His Excellency John Dramani Mahama to South Dayi District in August 2025.

✓ Brief by the District Budget Analyst on the commencement of 2025 Mid-Year Budget Review.

✓ Brief by the District Development Planning Officer of the 2026-2029 MTDP preparation.

✓ Brief by the DFO on The Internally Generated Revenue performance (Half year)

✓ Report on layout plans for Kpeve, Peki and Dzemeni markets.

✓ Report of establishing and enrolling the 24-hour Economy market at Kpeve.

In order to accomplish the assembly’s goals, the DCE urged all departments to collaborate and underlined the assembly’s commitment to serving the people of South Dayi District.
