ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH UNIT HOLDS HANDINGOVER CEREMONY-SDD

The Environmental Health Unit of South Dayi District Assembly (SDDA) has held a handing over ceremony with a call by Mr. Moses Cleanlight Kofi Awude who leaves on retirement today respectively handed over to Mr. Amegah Jerry the incoming District Environmental Health Officer(DEHO) to over sees the environmental health and sanitation responsibilities of the district.

In a short ceremony today, Wednesday 8th November 2023 at the District Assembly Hall Kpeve, the District Coordinating Director (DCD) Mr. John Kennedy Cobbah on behalf of the DCE expressed his profound gratitude to Mr. Awude after 32 years of hardwork, meritorious and dedicated service.He therefore urged the Environmental Health Unit to strongly unite and support the incoming DEHO.

In his address Mr. C.K. Awude gave thanks to the Almighty God, His family, Management, Assembly members, staff of SDDA, and his EHU staffs who had supported him for all this past years.

Mr. Amegah Jerry in his maiden acceptance speech pledged to continue from where his Boss has left and appealed to the entire EHU staff to rally behind him to continue to improve the environmental sanitation situation in the district.

Present at the Ceremony were the DCD, Heads of Department/Unit, Staff of SDDA and family and friends of Mr. Awude.
