Hon. DCE of South Dayi District Assembly and His Team Engage Stakeholders of Tsame on Medium-Term Development Plan

The District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Courage Kokroko, together with Heads of Departments/Agencies, engaged stakeholders of the Tsame community yesterday, 12th August 2025, at Tsame Asivieme.
In his brief speech, Hon. Courage Kokroko stated that such engagements form part of the District Assembly’s mandate to its citizens.
The District Planning Officer, Mr. Sylvanus Tetteh, led participants to outline the needs of the community. The following needs were identified:
1. Town Roads
2. Bridges and Culverts
3. Layouts
4. Institutional Latrine
5. Solar Street Lights
6. Agricultural Equipment and Tractor Services
7. Trauma Center
8. Animal Pound
9. Power and Water Extension
The first three were already in the previous plan, while six (6) new ones were added and prioritized as follows:
1st – Institutional Latrine
2nd – Power and Water Extension
3rd – Agricultural Equipment and Tractor Services
4th – Town Layouts
5th – Bridges and Culverts
6th – Town Roads
7th – Solar Street Lights
8th – Animal Pound
9th – Trauma Center
In his speech, Togbe Baduvie IV expressed his gratitude to the District Chief Executive and his team for performing their mandatory duty. He pleaded with them to ensure that the identified needs would be addressed within four (4) years.
He also thanked participants for honoring the invitation.
In his closing remarks, the DCE said he believed that at least half of the identified needs would be addressed.
