INHOUSE TRAINING ON THE DISTRICT DEVELOPMENT DATABASE PLATFORM (DDDP) FOR SDDA STAFF

Today, Monday, June 3, 2024, at the South Dayi District Assembly hall, a one-day in-service training session was being held to enhance staff members’ understanding of the District Development Data Platform (DDDP).

To improve database administration locally and monitor project/programme implementation on service delivery, DDDP, a web-based tool, has been developed. It also functions as a monitoring and assessment instrument for gathering data.

The event was spearheaded by the Planning and Coordinating Unit of the SDDA drew Department heads, Unit Heads and their assistants.

The Assistant Planning Officer, Mr. Fedelix Owusu Agyemang, who facilitated the training, gave a presentation on the DDDP platform’s overview, how stakeholders may access and use it, and how to collect pertinent data, assess trends, and enter accurate data.

One of the metrics used in the yearly DPAT assessment to monitor district performance and enhance performance and service delivery is the DDDP.
