REPORT ON PUBLIC SENSITIZATION ON THE ONGOING LIMITED VOTERS’ ID REGISTRATION WITHIN THE SOUTH DAYI DISTRICT.

The Electoral commission of Ghana on Tuesday 11th of September 2023 began the registration of new voter’s onto the Electoral roll ahead of the December 19 District level elections.

The exercise, which is in accordance with Article 45 of the 1992 construction, took place at all the district offices of the commission and south Dayi District was not left out.

A two day’s public sensitization was carried out in some communities in the District of South Dayi, for the awareness of the people who had turned 18 years since the last registration exercise in 2020 and also who wanted to transfer their vote and do replacement of their ID card in the District to come out and register

The communities that benefited from this sensitization are Kpeve town, Peki Adzokoe, Peki Dzake, Peki Tsame, Peki Blengo, Peki Avetilie, Peki Dzogbati, Peki Agbateh, Peki Wudome.

The exercise which started on Wednesday 27th of September 2023 was Thursday 28th of the same year.
