SOUTH DAYI DISTRICT ASSEMBLY HELD ITS FIRST (1ST) ORDINARY OF THE THIRD SESSION MEETING.

The South Dayi District  Assembly held its First (1st) Ordinary of the Third (3rd) Session Meeting on Tuesday 4^th April, 2023 at the Assembly hall. The General Assembly is the highest decision-making body of the municipality. Its core mandate is to perform deliberative, legislative, and executive functions under the leadership of the Presiding Member.

In attendance were the District Chief Executive, Member of Parliament, District Coordinating Director, the Presiding Member and Heads of Department.

They legislated on issues including improving health conditions, improving sanitation, enriching administrative activities, the commencement of new developmental projects and monitoring of the ongoing ones, enhancing agriculture, increasing revenue and improving the educational system to help promote efficacy and development within the municipality.

The Presiding Member, Honorable ……………………….. took the opportunity to express his gratitude to assembly members for once again voting him for him to renew his mandate.

Presenting the sessional address to the house, Hon. ………………………………. highlighted programs, projects and activities of the Assembly and some government policies and decisions on administration.
