South Dayi District Assembly Holds 2nd Quarter Management Meeting
The South Dayi District Assembly demonstrated its commitment to effective governance and community development by holding its second quarter management meeting on June 12, 2024.
The meeting, which was presided over by District Chief Executive Hon. Godwin Kwame Dadzawa, brought together department and unit heads to review the assembly’s performance in the first half of the year and strategize for the remaining quarters.
Among the key issues discussed were:
• Management engagement with CODA projects, specifically with the Kpeve and Gbi market under the PPP agreement;
• Management to hand over toilets that are completed but not in use to the communities for operationalization;
• The Assembly to educate and forbid people from encroaching on the Contour 280 prohibited areas at Tongor;
• The payment of Ex-Gratia to Assembly members
• Revenue Improvement Strategies to fund projects currently on going in the district.
To promote a culture of openness and ongoing development, the gathering gave departments a forum to discuss their accomplishments and lessons learned.
In order to accomplish the assembly’s goals, the DCE urged all departments to collaborate and underlined the assembly’s commitment to serving the people of South Dayi District..
