SOUTH DAYI DISTRICT ASSEMBLY HOLDS EXECO MEETING
The South Dayi District Assembly’s Executive Committee (EXECO) met today, Friday, April 26, 2024, to consider the findings from the assembly’s five statutory committees.
In the opening remarks of the Chairman; Honourable Godwin Kwame Dadzawa, he welcomed all the assembly members, chair persons for the various sub-committees, heads of departments and heads of units for making attending the meeting.
The heads of the subcommittees on Justice & Security, Finance & Administration, Social Services, Development Planning, and Works alternated in presenting their recommendations to the Committee for deliberation, endorsement, and subsequent submission to the General Assembly.
In order to help the Committee make well-informed conclusions and recommendations on the topics under debate and examination for later presentation to the General Assembly for approval, they were further questioned by the committee to offer comprehensive information.
Among the topics covered at the meeting were roads, health, education, agriculture, water & sanitation, and special initiatives / social interventions
