SOUTH DAYI DISTRICT ASSEMBLY RECEIVED RELIEF ITEMS FOR THE PEOPLE OF DZEMENI
Today, October 23, 2023, the South Dayi District Assembly (SDDA) in collaboration with the South Dayi District National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) has received relief items for the people who have been affected by the overflow of the Volta lake.
The relief items was presented by Volta Regional Minister Hon. Archibald Yao Letsa and Deputy Director-General of NADMO, Mr. Seji Saji Amedonu.
The items was received by the District Chief Executive (DCE) Hon. Godwin Kwame Dadzawa and the District NADMO Officer Mr. Fred Nani at the forecort of the District Assembly, Kpeve.
Deliveries of the commodities, including food and non-food items, will be made to those impacted by the spill particularly in Dzemeni and other affected areas on Wednesday, 25th October 2023.
The District NADMO Officer Mr. Fred Nani urged affected household the government is doing everything it can to assist the affected household, he added.
