The Member of Parliament (MP) for South Dayi donates sports items to schools

The Member of Parliament (MP) for South Dayi, Hon. Rockson-Nelson Etse Dafeamekpor    has presented sporting materials   to the South Dayi District Directorate of Education for distribution to Sixteen (16) Basic Schools in the District

The items include sets of jerseys and footballs.

Hon. Rockson-Nelson Etse said the donation of the items was his contribution towards sports promotion and improvement of the standard of education in the Constituency.

He urged teachers to attach importance to physical education so as to help keep the pupils and students healthy and to also unearth sports talents at the youth level.

Mad. Agnes Nutakor, District Director of Education who received the items on behalf of the schools said they were grateful to the MP for the support and pledged to ensure that they are strictly used for the intended purpose.

She said it was the Education directorate’s determination to encourage and ensure that extra efforts are put in place to help the students’ develop their sporting and educational skills.
