Site inspection for the 24 hour economy market model project at Kpeve

The South Dayi District Assembly has announced plans to designate the Kpeve Old market enclave for the government proposed 24 hour economy markets initiatives.
The visit follows the ongoing implementation of the governemnts 24-hour market initiative, aimed at boosting economic activities and expanding job opportunities across the country.
During the site inspection, the consultant briefed the DCE and his management on the projects structural plan, expected facilities and timelines(within 3 years begining from the day of site inspection). He made mention that the model market is expected to feature modern stalls and storage, improved sanitation system, child care centres, , Police Station post, fire service Post, health clinic , day care for traders,lorry parks for loading,digital payment infrastructure, garbage and collection points and spaces conducive to both day and night trading.
Hon Courage Kokroko expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far and reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to facilitating a smooth execution of the project. Hon. Kokroko commended the consultant and his team for their professionalism and assured that the Assembly will continue to prioritise initiative that uplift the district.
This site visit marks an important milestone toward the commencement of contruction, bringing the people of South Dayi specifically Kpeve one step closer to enjoying a modern marketplace under the visionary leadership of His excellency John Dramani Mahama.
