South Dayi MP support over 60 brilliant and needy students
Today 13th October 2025, the Majority Chief Whip in Parliament Hon. Dafeamekpor Etse Rockson Nelson (MP) has given a financial support to over 60 brilliant and needy students in his constituency.
The donation was presented by the District Chief Executive of South Dayi District Hon. Courage Kokroko (DCE) on behalf of Hon. Dafeamekpor (MP) who is currently out of the country on official duty.
In his speech at a short ceremony in his office Hon. Kokroko (DCE) said ” the gesture by the MP demonstrate his commitment in investing into the future of his people in education, agriculture,health and the general well being of his people”.
He also said a total of two hundred and seventy five thousand five hundred ( GHC 275,500)
was disbursed to the beneficiaries from the MPs DACF fund for the first and second batch for the months of April and June 2025.
He underscored the importance of education and encouraged the beneficiary students to take their studies seriously.
The beneficiaries appreciated the MPs generosity and expressed gratitude for the support.
