Brief Report On My First Day At School At Kpeyiborme Basic School On 10th September, 2019

The South Dayi District Education Directorate organized “My first day at school” which took place at Kpeyiborme Basic School on 10^th September, 2019 to welcome the new entrants to the school.

 In attendance were the DCE of the District, Hon. Patrick Mallet, DIO, Mr. Dominic Boachie, District Education Director, Mad. Justina Ziemeh, Chief of Kpeyiborme, staff and pupil of Kpeyiborme Basic School. Sixty (60) new entrants were entertained in a colorful durbar with educational activities.

There was poetry recital by a pupil to welcome the new entrants into the school. There was a cultural performance accompanied with drumming and dancing from the pupils.

The District Chief Executive, Hon. Ernest Mallet encouraged parents to bring their wards to school by observing the required age which is four (4) years.

The District Director of Education, Mrs. Justina Ziemeh spoke on the new curriculum to create awareness to the parents, teachers and pupils

The representative of the Chief of Kpeyiborme appealed to the DCE and the Assembly to help complete the Kindergarten Block for the Basic School.
