Hon. Mallet Inspects Ongoing Projects
Inspection of the market , sheds, drainage works and fencing of the market
The District Chief Executive (DCE) of South Dayi District Assembly, Hon Ernest Mallet on Friday 12th February, 2021 inspected ongoing projects in the District Capital, Kpeve
He visited the Kpeve market where the Hon. DCE inspected status of work on two market sheds, drainage works and a fencing of the market.
The Hon. DCE expressed his dissatisfaction with delays the projects have suffered and to bring relief to the traders.
Hon. Mallet tasked the District Works Engineer to agree on a revise work plan with the contractors to ensure completion of the projects in no time.
Hon. DCE promised to regularly visit the projects sites and warned that, delays will no longer be countenanced
Inspection of the Health Directorate-Tsokpofe

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of South Dayi District Assembly, Hon Ernest Mallet on Friday 12th February, 2021 inspected some ongoing projects in the District Capital, Kpeve
This is part of measures the Hon. DCE has instituted to regularly interact with various stakeholders of the Assembly and to ensure that their concerns are immediately addressed.
The inspection tour was also for the Hon. DCE to have a first-hand information on the progress of work on the projects.
The first visit was to a 1.2km road connecting Kpeve Health Directorate to Tsokpokope.
The project when completed is expected to reduce distance of commuters between the two points, create additional road for accessing Tsokpokope and its environs, help open-up Kpeve Community and more importantly optimise the use of facilities within the two communities.
The Hon. DCE and his team were satisfied with the state of work and entreated the contractor to keep to the timelines to ensure early completion of the project.
Hon Ernest Mallet Handover Desks to Schools
The DCE for South Dayi District, Hon Ernest Patrick Mallet on Friday 12th February , 2021 handed over 90 dual desks for distribution to schools in the District.
This set of desks represents the first consignment of 180 desks expected in the District from the Ministry of Local Government Rural Development and Decentralisation.
Hon. Mallet entreated the District Education Directorate to give priority to less endowed schools and to ensure regular maintenance of the desks
Mr. Gaddafi N. Baako, District GES Planning Officer who received the items on behalf of the District Director of Education thanked the Hon. DCE for the donation and promised to put the desks to good use.
Present at the event were, staff of both the Assembly and the Education Directorate.
