South Dayi District Assembly (SDDA) Meeting With Religious Leaders On Emerging Security Threats In The Country
Hon DCE said the aim of the invitation was to prepare the district against threats of terrorism and discuss ways to avoid any future occurrence.

The District Police Commander said as a result of terrorist attacks on neighboring countries like Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast, it is likely Ghana may be affected, hence the duty of the Police to create awareness about what is happening around us.
He urged churches to be vigilant and careful not to mistaken potential terrorists for new members or converts. The Kpeve Police Commander advised churches to make use of members who have security background so as to avoid attack and also educate their members to be vigilant.
He said terrorists plant explosive materials at vantage points so everyone should be vigilant. Emergency numbers to be contacted in case anyone detect terrorism are as follows: Police: 18555 Fire Service: 192 National Ambulance: 193.
